Andrews Bridge Foxhounds Inc. works very closely with all landowners and enjoy a very special relationship with our Amish community. As a result of our unique hunting country, we have established a Foundation to further improve these relationships and continue to improve the countryside. Below is our Mission Statement. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization under the Internal Revenue Service. All donations are tax deductible.
Mission Statement
The mission of The Andrews Bridge Foundation is to maintain, preserve and enhance the open space and natural environment of the territory hunted by our hunt club by educating others and pursuing projects that support this unique historically significant pack of Penn-Marydel hounds which have hunted the agricultural lands of southern Lancaster and Chester counties and the bordering area of Maryland for generations.
The foundation will sustain and enhance this unique agricultural land by ensuring good relations with its diverse community, which includes the Amish and other local farmers and landowners, through welcoming newcomers, active communication, education and involvement in hunt and countryside maintenance activities. Specifically, this will include partnering with existing conservancy organizations, education about the history and traditions of fox hunting and hound breeding and land conservation, stewardship and maintenance.
